Helen Brown
It would be more helpful to have your reasons.
Daniel Francis
I have personally not seen the books, from what i saw online they appear to be a very in-depth commentary looking at choice passages of the Bible. Now this is always a good thing. In general we have less than an ideal level of works on the OT and having a series relating the OT to gospel would be nice. Or even if it is more general (how does the life of Job, reveal God's grace and care, i think the series would well be worth getting). That being said price would also be a factor for me, the 10 volumes would have to come in at a reasonable price (definitely under 100, I would snap them up for certain if they would introduced at $50, although I know that your final price is not completely under your control but a negotiated thing with the publisher). I can see these volumes being ideal devotional study and likely a good resource for pastors preaching on the passages. To quote a book, 'What does it matter grace is everywhere…' but I say blessed are those who help us see that grace everywhere. -Dan
