Very interesting, Dr J, and useful to non-scholars, too!  Thanks.

Thanks for this. It raises a question for me about the Comprehensive Cross References module. Can it be used in reverse? By this I mean, for example, Can I use it to identify allusions to OT texts found in the DSS (obviously the non-biblical texts)?

Hi, Martin!

There are "reverse" modules, but only for the following corpora: Apostolic Fathers, Josephus, Philo, and Qumran modules. [I am not sure whether you are including the Qumran material in "DSS" or not.] Another tool you might want to consider for the task you mentioned is the DSS Index: http://www.accordanc.../?pid=DSS Index. I'll include an appropriate snapshot, so you can see what it offers and compare it to the Qumran Index Cross-references (part of the Comprehensive Cross-references).

The Qumran Cross-references are part of the Comprehensive Cross-references. The Qumran Index preceded the DSS Index.

Thanks for catching my error, Helen. I've amended my original post to eliminate it.
