cross reference tool malfunction

I am updated to the most recent version of accordance 10.2.1 and am using 10.7.5 for my mac. When I look at cross references (see screen shot)

I get this window that pops up. Every reference I move over brings up another window until my whole screen is covered with them.

I have not noticed this problem before. It was occurring before I did the update to 10.2.1

I would go to Preferences: Tool tab and reset the Text and Alternate Text pop-up menus to the main and secondary texts that you want to appear. If this does not fix the issue (and it may not anyway for previously saved windows), you may need to trash all your preferences, but I would only do that in cooperation with our tech support personnel.
