So here is something weird.  I am testing out sentence diagramming and tried to get John 4.26 into the sentence diagramming module.  In the English text when I try the ESVS and KJVS it leaves out the word: "I."  So the ESVS inputs: "Jesus said to her who speak to you am he" and the KJVS inputs: "Jesus saith unto her that speak to thee am he."

 

Anyone know why this would be? Possible sabotage by people who do not like the pronoun I?

Your sabotage theory seems good to me. John 4:32 has the same issue. Even merely selecting the speech without the intro, ensuring the "I" is in the selection, its not copied to the diagram pane. It is copied though for 4:29.

 

Acc 10.3.1 on Mac - Win not tested.
