Λύχνις Δαν
Hi ya, I updated ZIBBCOT on the Mac this morning. There were two other updates and I did both of those on the Mac and the PC this morning. Now if I try check for content updates on the PC I get the attached dialog. I have tried : 1. From the Mac - it processes ok and tells me I'm up to date. 2. Restarting Acc and trying from 10.3.3. and the 10.3.3.b1 Aleph 3. Rebooting my laptop. 4. Running Easy Install and and logging in and that shows all the stuff I own correctly. 5. Going to an earlier session and trying from that. No dice I'm afraid. Any suggestions of what else I can try ? Lorinda H. M. Hoover
Daniel, I used to see this in earlier Betas. For me, if I clicked the "OK" button, then shifted to the other category (Easy Install if I was in Updates, or vice versa) then back to the desired category, it would start working. Does that work now? (I can't tell from your list if you tried this specific step) Lorinda
Λύχνις Δαν
I forgot to list it Lorinda, but I tried it again just now and it made no difference. The Easy Install tab refreshes fine and things are good. I click on the Updates button and it pops the dialog up again. Thx D
Lorinda H. M. Hoover
I wonder if there's a server side problem that's manifesting differently on Mac and Windows. I should have several items listed as "paid upgrades" when I check for contents, but nothing's showing up right now. No error message, though. This is on my Mac, I'll try to check my Windows machine at work tomorrow (although I only have 10.3.2 there; 10.3.3 crashes on startup for me currently)
Λύχνις Δαν
Hey Lorinda, You might right about that. I just checked the paid updates from my Mac. There are usually 4, but right now its saying all modules are up to date. I guess I'll see how it feels in the morning. thx D
Matt Fredenburg
I am getting the same error as Daniel. I just deleted two modules in order to attempt to reacquire them (see bug http://www.accordancebible.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=11518), and got the same dialog. Λύχνις Δαν
Hi Matt, Ok so that's good to know. By the way if you still have the trashed versions and bring them back just remove one of the extensions and they should be good. You'll probably be prompted once for the location of the file to open it but after that it would be ok. I believe the acc2 extension is the one to keep. atool is older and predates the multi-platform rationalization of extensions. Thx D
