CMD-' actually tries to enter a quote character

Hi ya,

The CMD-' shortcut toggles between the search tab and the analysis results. I have an AppleScript that uses that feature and it started producing the attached error dialog. I was also getting trailing quotes on my search string. It took me a while to track it down. But what's happening is that when I'm in the Analysis tab and hit cmd-' it switches to the search tab and enters a ', which is added to the search string. If I'm in the search tab and hit cmd-' I switch to the Analysis tab and it often - though not always - tries to enter the ' which produces the error dialog.

Daniel,

Using ⌘⌥[ and ⌘⌥] Prev and Next zone, as well as ⌘⇧{ and ⌘⇧} Prev and Next tab, is very reliable.

See if you can use those in your workflow. Can't say more without seeing your code.

Thanx Joe, the [ ] work nicely and avoid this new issue in the other shortcut nicely.

Thx
