Improved Product Descriptions Where There is Confusion

Accordance sells many modules. Some of them seem overlapping. It would be helpful if in offering these items for sale, a better description were provided for some where there is overlap or confusion.

It would be helpful if as part of a list of Bible books with the commentaries available for purchase with author-commentator's names in alphabetical order, needed comments were included.

Examples:

For example, the Pillar 2 set vs. the Pillar 3 set might be clarified. In the list there would be under

MATTHEW:

Blomberg NAC

Carson EBC-R

Carson Pillar 3 (Carson in EBC-R and Pillar 3 are verbatim the same or differ in X ways).

France NBC

Morris Pillar 2 (Pillar 3 is newer than Pillar 2, -- some commentaries are different and some the same in Pillar 2 and Pillar 3)

I would like to see, both on the Accordance sales site and in the Accordance program

a list of Bible books with commentaries available along with explanations of overlap.

On the sales site this would tell the prospective buyer what he can find on a given book, with commenter's names in alphabetical order along with brief explanations enough so that one knows what one is buying.

Likewise brief annotations in the library of the program would help.

Thank you for your continual improvements.

I agree that the product titles, descriptions and codes all need to be cleaned up. I think each product should have the following:

TITLE (AUTHOR or EDITOR) — Just the way products are titled in the Accordance store. This part is fine.

LIBRARY CODE - This is how a module is titled in the Accordance software library.

PRODUCT CODE — These are the codes used in the easy install and updates

LIBRARY CATEGORIZATION - Text, Tool (English, Greek, Hebrew, Reference, General) etc. On the Accordance webpage, it uses a different CATEGORY identification system than how it organized in my own Accordance Library. I would to know when looking at a new module to purchase just where in my library it will be going.

DESCRIPTION would really like to see Table of Contents added. Currently, I usually have to go to Amazon and try to discover the contents of the book (or module). The screen shots are almost always unhelpful.

UPGRADE CALCULATOR — I know you can find it online, but having current purchases and bundles available to view would also be nice.

What a great suggestion.

I'm not sure what terminology Accordance uses for this, but you can at least tell the "PID" (Product ID?) for an item by the last few letters of the url for that product.

E.g.,

http://www.accordancebible.com/store/details/?pid=BECNT-16

and

http://www.accordancebible.com/store/details/?pid=LXXG-PS-ODES

Thanks much, Abram. The mnemonic for Abram's PID info is "piddle around" for the product info.
