I read this a couple of days ago and decided to post the link.  This is very encouraging.  While no company (and no platform) is perfect, Apple has made a deliberate decision to protect the privacy of their users (= their customers).  


Apple makes its money selling hardware and software, not ads.  When a tech firm makes their money selling ads, the one using the device ceases to be the customer.
