ukfraser
From what I saw, iOS 8 is compatible with iPad 2 and later and iPhone 4s and later, though obviously not every feature is supported, such as some of the health app require the latest chip. Rick Bennett
I understand that Apple will be releasing IOS 8 on Sept 17?. Will I be able to run accordance on IOS 8 on my IPAD 3? The current release of Accordance for iOS will run on iOS 8, but there are some issues. We're about to submit 1.7.6 which addresses compatibility issues with iOS 8 and should be available by the time it goes live.
David Voth
With iOS 8 and many updates coming for it, I am wondering if you can say anything more about an Accordance update?

This update primarily addresses some minor iOS 8 compatibility issues.
Gedalya
Should we upgrade to IOS 8 or wait for the Accordance update?
Rick Bennett
Should we upgrade to IOS 8 or wait for the Accordance update? The biggest known issue with iOS 8 is that the verse selection popup (press and hold on a verse reference) does not have the top controls for selecting multiple verses. This is fixed in the pending update. If you frequently select ranges of verses for copying or highlighting, then you might want to wait for 1.7.6 to update to iOS 8. Otherwise you should be fine. I hope this helps.
davidmedina
Rick, could you share some approximate time frame for arbitrary selection/highlighting for the mobile app? How soon? 3 months, 6 month a year? Just a ball park figure, please

How soon? 3 months, 6 month a year? Just a ball park figure, please Hi David, It's difficult to say exactly at this point because there are multiple factors involved with the release of 2.0 (which I can't divulge just yet). But, we hope that it will be available much sooner than 3 months. I hope that is sufficiently vague enough for you!
