How Can I Enlarge Line Spacing in a left column Contents Guide?

When I bring out the Contents List for Trench's Synonyms, the Greek words listed are on top of each other as to their tops & bottoms, making them hard to read. How can I widen the space between those line?

There is only one control for all the browsers, in Preferences: Appearance. I suspect that yours is set to Very Large, and I agree that with this setting the Greek (and Hebrew) entries in the browser are rather crowded. This can only be fixed by tweaking the programming. In the meantime, yours will look better at a smaller size.
