mwdiers
I'm a recent Accordance convert, but have an extensive background in competing products. Is there no way to display footnotes within a text? The NKJV, for example, has a set of notes, but they only seem to be tied to the verse, and there is not way to display them contextually. In other software, the footnotes appear as links in the text proper, so that it is possible to know which word or phrase the footnote belongs with. Abram K-J
I don't use the NKJV much, but I see now what you mean. It's not that way with every Bible text in Accordance--in fact, most that have footnotes are not like that. Since the NKJV does have some word-specific notes, I have no idea why they're not pegged to words themselves... unless maybe that was how that text is in print? Though I can't imagine that being the case.
sChen77
But is there a way to display all footnotes related to the displayed text (or on any single page) without having to mouse over and read it in the Info Display pane?
Joel Brown
If you click on the footnote, the tool will open showing all footnotes for that text.
