Gedalya
There are two editions. One for $59 and another newer two volume set for $119. To which volume does the hypertext abbrev refer?
Timothy Jenney
Accordance offers three English translations of the Greek Pseudepigrapha ($99.90): R. H. Charles (Pseud, $59.90); James H. Charlesworth (Pseud-CW, $119); and Craig A. Evans (Pseud-E, $49.90). If you are using Accordance 11, the full last name of each editor/translator is appended to the module name in the Library. The shorter codes are what appear at the top of each parallel pane. Charles is the old standard. Charlesworth is the new standard (and includes both extensive notes and cross-references). Evans did the tagging for Accordance, but also provided us with a translation. Compared to the others, he is less well know, If the hypertext link is to Pseud-CW, it is linked to Charlesworth's edition. Hope this helps! Helen Brown
Evans translated only the extant Greek text (which he also prepared for us). The other translations include witnesses from other languages.
jeremyduncan
Is there a way to get the PSEUD-CW to work with hyperlinks in texts and Instant Details? I have all three PSEUD-CW models installed but when I click a link to passages in this text I get a message telling me I need to buy Pseudepigrapha Charles (English). Should I have bought the Charles edition instead?
Rick Bennett
Is there a way to get the PSEUD-CW to work with hyperlinks in texts and Instant Details? I have all three PSEUD-CW models installed but when I click a link to passages in this text I get a message telling me I need to buy Pseudepigrapha Charles (English). Should I have bought the Charles edition instead? What module are you in that it is telling you that? All destination links to-from each other in a similar corpus should work, unless the reference is not found for some reason.
jeremyduncan
hmm, the link was in NICNT linking to 1 Enoch 90:14 which is available in PSEUD-CW I will try a few more links to see what happens...
Rick Bennett
hmm, the link was in NICNT linking to 1 Enoch 90:14 which is available in PSEUD-CW I will try a few more links to see what happens... It's because Charles (PSEUD) only has "Enoch" not "1Enoch". So resources released prior to Charlesworth which are coded to Charles and do not specify 1Enoch will not work correctly in Charlesworth. Can you please report this as a correction in-app, and link to this post? That would help us out in fixing this.
