Getting License for Bibles

How do you get license to reproduce or use Bibles? For instance, I am thinking of my language: Telugu Bible. What would it take - time, money(?), procedure etc... to get permission? (permission could be any Bible; here I am using Telugu Bible as an example).

You have to find out who owns the rights to the Bible, and request a license from them. If you have an etext you can convert it to a user Bible for your own use, but you cannot pass it to others unless you have permission to do so.

If you look under the Accordance Help it gives you the information you need

Start with http://accordancefiles2.com/helpfiles/OSX11/Default.htm#topics/05_dd/user_bibles.htm%3FTocPath%3DDigging%2520Deeper%7CCreating%2520Your%2520Own%2520Modules%7CUser%2520Bibles%7C_____1

There are links on that page to preparing the text and importing the bible.

Telugu Bible: https://www.bibleleague.org/bible-downloads/ Contact: https://www.bibleleague.org/bible-downloads/license-agreement/

Don't forget they have more Bibles, it would be good if all come to Accordance. They have not many Bibles but the ones are for a huge amount of peoples. For millions/billions of people in India, If you want to grow in India, Serbia, etc. I would get in contact.
