Abram K-J
The PhotoGuide Copyright section (I still just have PhotoGuide 3) says: The photographs contained herein are all under copyright, and ownership of this software does not constitute a license to duplicate, republish, or redistribute these photographs without the express written consent of their copyright holders. And it doesn't specify elsewhere that users can use them in teaching and preaching contexts. But the Web copy says: Teachers and pastors especially love the Accordance Bible Lands PhotoGuide because the user license allows you to use the images in teaching and preaching contexts. Am I right to assume the latter overrides the former? Or they are compatible, at least, in that "teaching and preaching" doesn't qualify as "duplicate, republish, or redistribute"? Helen Brown
Yes, you are correct. Teaching and preaching uses are encouraged, distribution of the images in any form in which they can be captured at good resolution and reused is not. For example, it's OK to post online a video that uses them, but not a PowerPoint or PDF, unless you get permission.
