Photos of Codex Vaticanus are now available online here: http://digi.vatlib.i...MSS_Vat.gr.1209

I discovered this yesterday thanks to Ancient Jew Review (via Twitter), who pointed to Ancient World Online, who pointed to the Vatican/Heidelberg page. If you're doing the Greek Psalms in a year and want to have a look, here's a link to the first page of Psalms.

Someone was on the ball updating the Wikipedia page for Codex Vaticanus with a link, too, but I've not been able to find much info about the project, whether they intend to add transcription, etc. At the moment it looks like it is only photos of the codex (but of the actual manuscript, not of an old facsimile).

Is it too early to ask when we might see these in Accordance?  ;)

Especially the LXX portions would be nice.

They appear to be free on the internet now.  What would you like Accordance to do with them  to make it worth buying these free photos from Accordance?  I assume the Vatican has to approve it and collect royalties also.  I am thinking that I would like to have this with a diplomatic transcription line by line interjected.  I don't know if anyone has already made a diplomatic transcription of Vaticanus.

I must say that that page of Psalms sure looks much better than other pages of Vaticanus I have looked at.

That looks amazing and loads really fast. I wish that the Codex Sianaticus site was that responsive and well designed.
