Bug? Or Operator Error?

I searched for the lemma of a Hebrew word (found near the start of Psalm 90 & other places in the OT) which surely is not a hapax legomenon.  I figure I may not be doing something correct, so I didn't put this in bug right away; but I never had this problem before.  But when I search off of highlighting it & right click menu search for lemma, only 1 result shows up for this word,

 

מָעוֹן

Hi Enoch,

 

the good news is, it’s neither! It’s because Groves has tagged this as a hapax ​of this particular lemma. There are 4 lemmas that are homographs of מָעוֹן according to HALOT.

 

 

If you notice. in the search bar after you do the search a -1 is appended to מָעוֹן (green arrow).if you then click in the search bar, the other possible lemmas will appear like this (red box):

 

 

If you wish to search for all the lemmas at once, you can wildcard them like this

 

 

Note the ? in place of the 1 in the search bar (lilac box), and then see the list of lemmas found in the analysis pane (aqua box)

Addendum:

If you want to restrict your search to just the 2 lemmas that correspond to “dwelling” (i.e. lemma 1 and lemma 2), then you can wildcard for that as well. You can go lemma-?(12) - all in reverse of course (orange box)- and voila, the other lemmas will disappear and your results will be just for the 2 lemmas that HALOT thinks have to do with dwelling (brown box).

Thanks Ken.  So someone thinks there are 4 homographs & 4 lemons.  I take it that means they think that the 4 come from distinct Hebrew roots though the spelling is the same with the expressed example.  Evidently that was not the opinion of the old BDB, Keil/Delitzsch boys, but no doubt advances have been made in scholarship since then.  I need to check out the latest evidence.

 

Meanwhile shall I sing,

"Give me a מָעוֹן

where the buffalo roam . . ." ?
