Boni
Is there anybody around (beside me) who is working on the Latin Bible or is doing textual criticism using the Old Latin? It would be great to get some support in my request of the Apparatus of the Roman Vulgate and/or even more the Vetus Latina editions. Boni
Fabian
Hello Boni Maybe Prof. Dr. Michael Fieger from the http://www.projekt-vulgata.ch/Projekt-Vulgata/Startseite_%28Englisch%29.htmlcan help. He is also an Accordance user. Greetings Fabian
Jonathan C. Borland
I own all of the available VL NT volumes, and as you know they're not only expensive but very specialized. Whereas the Göttingen LXX series carries a dedicated group of followers, I'm not sure the same would be the case for VL. But maybe the biggest obstacle would be no etext for series such as the Catholic epistles which was published in fascicles over 10 years in the 60s and 70s. Perhaps etexts for the more recent volumes would have etexts, but then the other obstacle of probable lack of sufficient interest plus the formidable cost remains. Nevertheless, if Accordance got some VL then I'd likely purchase them!
