Search for final letters

Hi!

Is it possible to search for final letters? E.g. to search for psalms where the last word ends with a final ן or ץ or the like?

Thanks

Hi, Willgren!  This is quite easy.

To find a word ending in a letter, simply do a search for the letter preceded by an asterisk.  To find when that word is the last word of your scope, such as one of the Psalms, search for it of [FIELD End].  Finally, you want to set your Scope to Chapter, as you are looking for the last words of a chapter than the last words of a verse.  Putting it all together, you'll have a search that looks like this:

Let me know if this helps, or if you have any followup questions!

Not quite so easy! If you are looking for an ending form you must also specify that you are searching the inflected form (by enclosing it in quotes). In the case of ending forms it does not need to be case sensitive, but if you want to be, you can (by adding a equal sign before the word, inside the quote).

If you want to find all the ending forms you can search for "=*?(nxpk)" for example (in reverse order).
