Do highlights sync?

I have made several highlights in my ESV text. When I sync the text in IOS, it does not bring over my highlights. Must my desktop highlights be exported to mobile highlights?

Yes they sync but you DO NOT export them to "mobile highlights". Once you sync you should be able to go to settings on IOS Accordance and the sixth item on the list is "Highlights File". Go to the right side of the screen on the same line as the "highlights file" and select your highlights file that you are using for your desktop highlights.

Thanks, Bob. However, my highlights file is not listed, no matter how many times I sync. The only option I have is "My Mobile Highlights."

Hi John,

In the Accordance Preferences on the desktop, do you have the highlights 'turned on' to sync in the syncing section?

Have you upgraded to the new Accordance for iOS 2.0 yet? If not, you should, if possible.

Before you begin working on these, be sure you have them backed up someplace, just in case something goes wrong, then you will be able to get them back easily.

You can backup your 'Highlights' folder inside of your 'Accordance Files' folder in your 'Documents' folder.
