If this has been covered before, my apologies but I could not find anything directly addressing this.

Why does Accordance duplicate my entire workspace when I click on a scripture reference in a tool?

Is there some setting that will change this behavior?

Thanks for any help,

Greg

Peace!

Greg

It does this if you have parallel tools to a text in a zone. One way round it is to have your tool in a separate zone and tie it to your text rather than have it in parallel in the same zone.

Another 'solution' is that once you have selected the reference the first time remove all the tools from the resulting zone and just leave the text with recycle set to 'on' (the blue triangular arrows). It will then reuse that text when you select a reference.
