thomasrod
How do I copy and paste bible text without the letters that refer to footnotes? Is there anyway to turn them off? I'm using the ESV. Thanks Rod (my version is 10.4.5) Edited April 8, 2015 by thomasrod
Helen Brown
You can select Copy as no Superscript from the Edit menu or the right-click menu. You can also select Copy as Citation and set the Preferences/Citation to suppress the superscripts as well as set other options for the cited text. zahernan
How do I create a shortcut for the Copy as No Superscript option?
Helen Brown
The problem is that on Mac we use command-control-C. Ctrl on Windows replaces the command key on Mac, but there is then no equivalent for the control key. There really aren't any spare key shortcuts, so even if you can edit your shortcuts, you would have to disable one from another menu to use it here.
