The ODCC is much more complete, and accurate, then the NIDCC. It costs more but, at least in this case, you get what you pay for.

Reviving this one to see interest. I did use this quite heavily in seminary.

Great volume but pricey if it came at a very good price at introductory time. I might be interested.

I bought the cheaper concise volume which is still quite good, more affordable but much better than the nidcc currently in accordance.

i also was given the 1977 reprint by the wife of a previous vicar after he had died. Its my go to despite being getting on for 50 years old. So would be an excellent addition to accordance.
the oup has a lot of serious dictionaries in their catalogue. Just a shame they seem a pain to deal with.
