Fabian
Hello To create User Lexicons would be a very nice addition, in Accordance. You know what I mean... Greetings Fabian
Timothy Jenney
I recommend you start with your favorite lexicon and develop a User Notes file to go along with it. You can put your own comments, translations, etc. in it, but still have all the advantages of a regular Accordance lexicon. I know many of you would like more robust development tools, but the fact is they do not exist. Converting electronic texts is not an automated process. Every author does things differently and so does every publishing company—and often they are not consistent! We have a whole team of people developing materials for Accordance. They are specialists, with well-honed skills. They work hard and they deal with a whole host of problems, issue-by-issue, page-by-page. We then run those modules through several stages of proofing, trying to catch as many errors as we can. If developing modules were easy, everyone would do it! Unless you want to dedicate your life to developing tools for Accordance (in which case we recommend you contact us to see if we have any openings), I'd recommend you work diligently in your own field of expertise. Earn enough in that field to purchase the modules you want in Accordance. Leave the module development to the experts. You'll save yourself a lifetime of frustration! Fabian
Please add the possibility to tag "entry" maybe as an "E" where we can tag "T", "1" etc. And also to predefine like <a href:entry......> in the html. Greetings Fabian
Daniel R
+1 Fabian, Reinier de Blois' Semantic Dictionary of Biblical Hebrew (www.sdbh.org) is made with a simple program he wrote (Windows only) to make that dictionary. You could email him and ask for a copy to make your own stuff. Also, consider that you might want to make something outside of Accordance that can be put into accordance as a User Tool but that you could also share with non-Accordance users. As long as you have an html file, you can make a User Tool. Edited November 9, 2015 by Daniel R

farcas
Maybe something in between or just related ....allowing notes and or highlights to be on selected words in a text and not the whole verses. If I highlight a word and search for that style I get the whole verses. Thanks!
Michel Gilbert
+1 for a user lexiconI'm actually making my own in BW bc I can't in Acc, and updating with KAHAL before the English translation comes out. A user lexicon is an absolute must for the HB scholar, IMHO.Regards,Michel
