I like simplicity without distraction and so always use the reading mode. But it would be great if it could be entered into with two parallel texts both in reading mode. Thanks! If someone knows different feel free to correct me here... but I'm assuming you are referring to Reading Mode in Version 11 and you may find that you have something close to that by arranging your two texts in parallel... then if you are using a Mac... hold your "Option" & "Command" keys down and tap the "S" key to open those texts into Slide Show mode. That's the only way I can think of to get something similar to the Reading mode with two panes in parallel. See if that comes close to what you need.
