search tab stops working

Sometimes, after a while, the search field becomes unresponsive. Not like freezing, and no spinning balls, it just doesn't seem to react on the keyboard anymore, as if the text box is out of focus; I am not able to type anymore. The return key becomes irresponsive. Although I can scroll through the search history, and change tabs and zones, I can't revisit new passages, since the return key stopped working, in none of the search boxes (when using multiple zones).

 

It often happens when I am working for a while, switching to other programs. My solution is to quit and reopen. A bit annoying, and a tad vague...

Is this is known issue?
