How Can 1 Stop the Superscripted Line Occupying Ref #s?

I cannot find a way in Accordance preferences to stop the staggered paste of verses to MS Word.  My Accordance text display is set to font size 30, the refs to 16.  The Display in Acc shows small superscripted numbers in front of verses, but the superscripts do not extend above the text letter line.  The superscripts are elevated above the bottom of the text letter line, but (since they are smaller font) they do not extend above the text letters.

I have prefs set to suppress superscripts.

But when I paste text into MS Word, I find that wherever there is a verse reference number, that number is elevated causing there to be an extra half line of space between text lines.  It is laborious to remove each of those ref numbers individually and replace them with numbers in line with the words.  Lets see if pasting here has the same effect:

"was so.  10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.  11 And God said, Let the earth put forth grass, herbs yielding seed,"

No, this effect is different on this word processor.  First when I pasted, the refs were raised to the tops of the words, maybe very slightly higher.  But after I posted, the refs appeared lined up with the bottom of the word line.  (This forum word-processer is not WYSIWYG.)  When I paste into MS Word, however, the verse numbers are raised so high that they create about a half space of empty line, like this:

But I have not forgotten thy law.

69       The proud have forged a lie against me:

With my whole heart will I keep thy precepts.

83       For I have become like a wine-skin in the smoke;  Yet do I not forget your statutes.

Is there any way to stop this exaggerated superscript effect when thus paste?  Is there anyway to stop Accordance from displaying verse numbers raised in superscript fashion given that I have chosen a smaller font size for the reference numbers, smaller than the text font size?

Try using Copy As... >Citation. That should eliminate all the internal verse references entirely.

Copy As... No Superscript does eliminate the superscript numbers, but MS Word (oddly enough) still raises them by 4.5 pixels. You can select the entire passage in Word, select Format>Font, then choose Advanced>Position>Normal.

Alternately, choose Paste Special>Unformatted text in Word or (if you have the newer version) Paste and Match formatting.
