jasonhyer Posted July 25, 2015 Share Posted July 25, 2015 (edited) Good morning. I cannot get Accordance 11 to install on my Windows 8.1 laptop no matter what I try. I download this file: http://www.accordancefiles1.com/products/Accordance11.0.6.exe I start the installation process... log in and verify my account. Click continue, it brings up my purchased version and I click the download button. The program downloads 192 items then begins installation. About halfway through the installation process the program just completely closes. When I restart the program and I have to start all over again... the same steps are taken and the same results occur. I'm a fairly tech savy guy. I tried many combinations of computer restarts, deleting the program and re-downloading. I even tried downloading previous versions and attempting install... same results every time. I did get the free trial to download, install, and work properly, but this tormented me more than anything because I got to see how great the software was, but couldn't load my full version. Can someone please provide me with some help? I spent a few hours googling for similiar issues and could not find any. Thank you. Joel Brown Posted July 25, 2015 Share Posted July 25, 2015 Jason, we've identified a bug in 11.0.6 that can cause a crash while installing the Atlas. This is fixed in 11.0.7, due to be released today, so the simplest solution is to wait until 11.0.7 is available. Alternatively, in Easy Install, you should be able to dive into the Essential Collection and uncheck the Bible Atlas from being installed. I always seem to remember just the Collection as a unit available for download but no way to omit a single item such as Atlas etc. Have I just been missing this option? There is no way for me to download or install just pieces of it. Do you have an ETA when the new version will be available for download? Thank you for responding to my issue. I noticed that all of the easy install and login boxes now scaled properly for 1080p displays where they did not on my screen for 11.0.6. Thank you for your work.
