Citation/Bibliography Feature Request

The request is to have the “copy as” feature work on Bible as it does on other resources…

When using the “copy as” feature with any Bible text

…if I choose copy as a citation, I get this

(1 Kings 11:4)

“In Solomon’s old age, they turned his heart to worship other gods instead of being completely faithful to the LORD his God, as his father, David, had been.”

…if I choose copy as bibliography, I get this

(1 Kings 11:4)

I am not getting this information

Note that for other resources, I get all the information

When using the “copy as” feature with any other text (i.e. commentary)

…if I choose copy as a citation, I get this

The Lord told Solomon, it is likely by a prophet, what he must expect for his apostacy.

I understand the need for this but I would still want the option to work as it does at the moment as well

If I copy as citation I get this:

“Genesis 1:1   In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.”

(Genesis 1:1–2 NIV11-GKE)

If I copy as Bibliography, I get this:

(Genesis 1:1–2 NIV11-GKE)

Make sure you have this preference set and try again...

I know this still doesn’t give the extended information like publication date etc that you might desire, but you generally only need that once (in a Bibliography) in a paper...can be copied and pasted from the “about this text” dialog.
