Λύχνις Δαν
Hi ya, I'm logging this as an enhancement because I"m pretty sure this is not a bug but just not implemented this way. If I'm not correct feel free to treat it as a bug. Of course if I'm doing this incorrectly let me know. When I do a search in Greek in LSJ say, for αιρω. Then in that article I want to find the imperfect form, so I want to search for English Content "Impf". If I do right click on the top of the pane Search Within -> Article, then my cursor appears in the search field. But if I switch to a English Content search and type in Impf it Acc. begins a completely new search. It would be nice if somehow one might change what one is searching for without causing a completely new search. I suspect that this might cause UI confusion as to when one intends a new search and when not, but perhaps the Search Within context menu could solve that by offering the search field. Just a thought. BTW, I do realise the alternative approach to do a multi-field search at the outset will serve here also. Thx D
Helen Brown
The Search within applies to either a boolean search (AND, NOT etc) in the same field, or to searches in different fields. In your case you need to click the + to add another field, and choose English Content. This keeps your original search in the main entry box and lets you add another search in the secondary (or more) fields.
