Mac Full screen

Does anyone have a fix for the problem where full screen mode now makes accordance larger than the screen area (i.e. meaning the text on the left pane and the menu at the top is not visible)?

Thanks

When I have been using my MacBook Air plugged into an external monitor and then disconnect it, my Accordance workspaces don't fit the laptop screen.  However, if you just click in the Toolbar the workspace will resize.

In full screen mode, you can't click in the toolbar, it moves above the top of the screen :D

Actually I've started to notice some other strange behaviour, like, now my left hand library list "hovers" which is cool, but clicking on the cross to get details of the book no longer works. Not sure whats going on.

What happens if you size the screen so that it takes up the whole monitor, then move to full-screen mode?

You can amplify from the Library in 'hover mode' but I don't think the info pop-up pops up.  You'd essentially have a pop-up of a pop-up.  But I may be wrong.

Someone who is more knowledgeable will post, I hope.

Thanks for your help. Double-clicking the titlebar to resize to full screen, and then enter full screen mode doesn't seem to help. Perhaps its a OS X 10.11 issue. (Which is already in GM, to be released in about 1 weeks so I assume it is to be released very very soon)

I'm running 10.10.5. That may indeed be the issue.

The best solution I've found is to give accordance it's own desktop rather than making it full screen. Then you've got easy access to the sizing buttons and can expand or shrink according to the monitor.

Having Accordance work in El Capitan's Split Screen view is on our list, but it's not something easily implemented and probably won't be released as part of 11.1 (that's just my guess). Note that none of the Adobe products (like Photoshop) work in Split Screen view either. It's not a trivial piece of coding.

This is also what I do.  I have several windows open at once.  It would be a pain to have to switch desktops to go from one to  another.  One has a bunch of Greek grammars (plus a Bible text zone); one is my prayer journal.  I have another with my daily reading tabs set up (updated daily).  And one for Greek homework – I'm sitting in on Greek 3 (audited it once, sat in on it once before several years ago … third time's the charm).
