Search Conditional sentences in the NT

Any one knows how to search for Conditional sentences in the NT? I particularly want to see all occurrences of the 2nd class conditional statement.

You have just found a compilation of the guides to Greek syntax that I published in this forum. I am thankful to the late Rodney Decker for doing that. He was very competent and helpful when we discussed several grammar issues in the GNT. I miss his contributions.

In the meanwhile, there has been an important change in the syntax module, that I believe makes searches much easier. The conjunction are now included within the boundary of the depedent clause that they introduce. As a result, a search can point directly to the subordinate clause, and there is no longer need to take its context into account.

Then, it is now possible to specify how deep a search needs to go. Sometimes a conditional clause can be at the lowest level of a long chain of dependent clauses.

So, it would be enough to:

  1. set up a construct search,
  2. drop a Clause element,
  3. when prompted choose Dependent, adjunct, and the maximum depth (Depth = 9)
  4. drop a Lex element, and select =εἰ and/or =ἐάν_1, depending on what kind of clause you need
  5. select Verb and drop it in the column next to Lex
  6. when prompted, select the Tense or Mood that are expected, according to the kind of conditional clause that you search
