I'm often either reading the MT or looking up something in a commentary, journal, or the AYBD. However, whether on my iPad or my iPhone (I have iOS 9 on both), I have noticed that when I perform a search, and then try to cycle through the results, the app will freeze. The app will mark to the second result, and sometimes the third, but after that, it will always freeze. This is a recent development for me, but it makes using Accordance on my mobile device quite tedious, as it just does not work of late. Even if I close the app and restart it, the same thing happens. It does not matter whether I am searching in a text or a tool. Any thoughts on how to fix this problem? Is anyone else having this issue? theblackbluejay Posted October 21, 2015 Author Share Posted October 21, 2015 (edited) Hi Rick, The crash occurs in any search tool that I use: AYBD, any commentary (I have AB. Word, Hermeneia), any lexicon (I have DCH, BDB, DEH, and TLOT) or any grammar (I have Gesnius, J-M, WOC). The crash happens within all of them. If I am searching for results, and more than a single result is found, marking though the result causes a crash. I have no idea why. I can say that my first test today, searching AYBD for "Abraham" in the Titles field did work correctly, marking through many hits. Not sure what is causing your issue, but we'll investigate. It worked perfectly. Then I did the most recent search that I first tried a few days ago (I was looking for all occurences of the term 'Kumarbi'), and that search completely crashed. I mark to the second occurence of the searxh results, and the app freezes. The only way to do anything at all after that is to completely close the app. I have no idea why one search would behave differently than the other. I was able to mark through the results for a while, but after about 20 results, the app froze again. (This freezing happens on my iPad as well as my iPhone). Very strange.
