mrderek
Hi there Does anyone have any simple instructions on how to import Accordance glossaries into Anki flash cards to form a deck? I've been looking on the internet and can't seem to find it. Thanks Derek
Λύχνις Δαν
Hey Derek, I don't have simple instructions written up I'm afraid but I have done it. I did an entire set of decks for the psalms with data drawn from Accordance. To do it I wrote various scripts. The file format itself for import into Anki is pretty simple and is documented on the Anki website : http://ankisrs.net/docs/manual.html#importing. It recommends using LibreOffice to produce a CSV file and import that. That's pretty straightforward. But ask any specific questions and I can try to help. But I wanted to ask what you mean by glossaries ? What I have usually done is run a query against an OL text and then opened the Analysis tab and then cut and paste that data into a file, or save it to a file, and then use that as the source data for flashcards. IS that what you want to do ? Thx D
mrderek
Hi Daniel Thanks for that. I'll check it out. Basically what I mean are lexical forms on one side and english meanings on the other. Not sure if glossary is the right word.
