I read the complete list of what's new at http://www.accordancebible.com/New-Since-11/ and discovered some hidden gems.

 

Thanks for the Qatal/Yiqtol terms that can be set at Preferences > Greek & Hebrew.

 

 

And, thanks for the "support for tagged transliteration texts, such as upcoming tagged Ugaritic." Did I miss something, or is this the first official announcement?

Surprise! Actually, I don't know if it had been mentioned before this or not. Nevertheless, it will be available very soon.

I think I can guess who's doing the tagging. Assuming he started in the spring at the earliest, it would be quite an accomplishment to have tagged most of the texts already. So, I understand "the complete text, not so much."

 

But I'm glad there will be an announcement soon, and that it is happening.

Just out of curiosity, are there any plans to do a training or a podcast on the Ugaritic materials?   I'm assuming that the new tagged texts module will be self-explanatory, but I would benefit from a brief tutorial on the Ugaritic database module.  For whatever reason, this is the only module in my library that is not making sense to me, in terms of how it might be utilized.  

 

I have used KTU2, CTA, CAT, and read through many of the texts in Pardee's grammar (which uses RS reference numbers), but this module is not making sense to me.  I get the feeling that I am missing something very simple . . .

I'll admit that I was confused by it at first, too, David. The 00-recension is always the "main" recension. All the recensions such as R1 and 10 are case sensitive, meaning that they differ on the text in question. For instance, in UDB 1.1, the different recensions are based on the following:
