Tim Hall
Afternoon, I could be showing massive ignorance of Hebrew (I haven't touched it much since 2000) but wanted to find out if I am doing something wrong ... so I needed to ask. I am working with Joel 2.21-27 for my Thanksgiving Service sermon. When I went to paste it into Scrivener (version 2.7) the text seemed to be flipped upside down. Of course I know that Hebrew reads right to left but I do not remember it reading bottom to top. I used the Copy as Citation. I attempted this with the HMT-W4 as well as the BST. The modules are up to date as is Accordance. I have attached screen shots- one of the resulting paste & one of my citation prefs. Thanks! Michel Gilbert
Hi Tim, You probably used Paste instead of Paste and Match Style. I set my Citation Preferences the same as yours, Copied As Citation and pasted into Scrivener 2,7 using Paste and Match Style, and it worked perfectly: Regards, Michel
Tim Hall
Michel, That did not work. perhaps something is wrong with my unicode settings or export settings. Attached are a screen shots of them. Export prefs.tiff Unicode prefs.tiff
Michel Gilbert
Hi Tim, I have Export all characters with Unicode format checked, and, Use these fonts for Unicode export checked. I'm using Ezra SIL for Hebrew, but any Unicode font should work. Hope it works, Regards, Michel
