Check for Content Updates - Mac - Problem

I installed all the free updates and went to check the paid update section.  It says to ctrl-click the items you want, however, that does not work, neither does just clicking on the boxes.  Not sure what the problem is, but, I am using Acc 11.1.1.  They worked in the past, but, I did not take advantage of paying for those updates.  Thanks for any help.
