bpkantor
I know it is possible to search for words and highlighted text like this: [verb first perfect] <AND> [style lavender] or something like that. However, there are verses where I have only highlighted half the words intentionally (and not the whole verse). The above search will pick up all the first perfect verbs in the verse even in the portions of the verse that are not highlighted. How can I search a word so that the search only returns words which are actually highlighted. Thanks! Ben
Helen Brown
You cannot do that because the Style search simply identifies the verse that has highlighting in it, and not the word, sorry!
Michael P Finkelstein
This needs to be changed. If the program does not index the individual highlighted words it severely weakens the potential of this feature from the users perspective. For example, the redactional work in the Pentateuch could, if this were corrected, be significantly enhanced as linguistic criteria can be restricted with the STYLE search argument. Please address this limitation.
