Then its time to wear flip fops, because my Mac say it's time for Beachball. A reinstall hadn't bring a solution. Also is then Accordance in list of the Apps with significant Energy. Joel Brown Posted January 24, 2016 Share Posted January 24, 2016 This is because Ethiopic characters are not included in the font you have chosen in the Set Text Display (Command-T), so for every letter, the Mac is searching through your fonts to try and find one that can render it - obviously a very slow process! Simply change the font you are using to Kefa or Abyssinica, and be sure to set it as the default so you don't experience this again. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
