NIDNTTE Crash

I'm using the iPad Pro with 9.2.1, Accordance 2.2.2

Load NIDNTTE from library, select Hamburg menu, program crashes.

It does this consistently.

I've reset iPad, force quit Accordance, and removed saved session. Still crashes.

I deleted the resource. And re downloaded. Still crashes.

I would appreciate any suggestions.

Sorry, I have no idea what you mean by "select Hamburg menu," and I cannot get mine to crash at all.

"Hamburg" or "Hamburger" is the standard term used for the 3 parallel bar icon.

It is used to select, in this case, what letter or the Greek alphabet one wants to browse.

Are you using an iPad Pro?

Ah, I was thrown by that remark, too. Technically ours is not a hamburger icon like the one in the Facebook app: Facebook.PNG

Ours is a Verse Chooser/Table of Contents icon distinguished by the little dots to the left: Accordance.PNG

Of course, none of the above helps David! Since this doesn't seem to be a universally repeatable error, I would recommend contacting tech support. I have no doubt they will be able to correct the issue with crashing.

Wait for the next version - my favorite computer mantra!

I actually just got it to work and I think it's really weird

I force quit(ted) Accordance, rebooted my iPad Pro.  Then I loaded NIDNTTE and didn't hit the table of contents menu but instead scrolled down the resource a couple of swipes worth. Then, when I hit the table of contents menu, it works.  I selected epsilon, and was able to scroll through the entries.

Maybe I have  ghost in the machine, or it was mad because I was calling the table of contents menu the hamburger menu.

Now that my nomenclature is right it agreed to work!

Some days I just hate computers.

Then, just for giggles, I deleted the NIDNTTE and redownloaded.  It crashed if it was the first time I had opened this resource and chose the table to contents menu.  If I have scrolled it, everything works fine.

I'm so glad I don't have to do tech support or debug program - my hats off to all who do!

That's interesting I tried the same thing with with the Newman Dictionary, scrolling down before opening the table of contents and it worked. If you are at the beginning of the tool and open the contents it crashes, so obviously the same bug.

Steve,

I'm glad you tried it - glad to know I'm not crazy.
