Alistair
Why do all these modules have such wild variation in the typesetting of their title page information? May we please have some consistency here. (Admittedly it is a fairly trivial issue.)
R. Mansfield
I believe there's usually an attempt to approximate the title page typesetting of the print edition.
Alistair
Hmm. I think it would be better to have a standard title page. After all, the rest of the content of the modules do not follow the design and layout of the print version.
Rick Bennett
Hmm. I think it would be better to have a standard title page. After all, the rest of the content of the modules do not follow the design and layout of the print version. Some of these IVP modules date back pretty far. In the past we may not have received a "complete" e-text with the title page, and basically rolled our own. Furthermore, in more recent years we have had a greater emphasis on representing (as far as is possible on our platform) the layout of the print edition with more detail. I think this is a sign of a larger trend in electronic books.
