wboydsp
I am making plans for several upgrades in the next couple years. My next upgrade will be to the Essential collection. My hope is to upgrade to Ultimate collection before I graduate. However, I notice that there are alot of foreign language bibles that I will never utilize that comes with these collections. Is there a way to pick and choose from the collections? I really think the collections are the best way to build the library but many of the foreign language bibles are going to go to waste on my computer and I would prefer to save the room for resources that i will utilize. Any suggestions?
Fabian
Hello you can choose which modules you want to install on your machine. You can tick only the one which you would have on the computer from the packages. In this case don't be worry. Greetings Fabian
ukfraser
I never thought i would use a fench or spanish bible but have one for each language on my phone and tablet. One day a couple turned up at church who only spoke french. They stayed for over a year. It was extremely useful having a french translation i could share with them. ( i got the service translated and put all projected headings in french so they could follow where we were.) Spanish is extremely useful when visiting my daughter in Peru. I think the translations are similar in all packages and you never know who you are going to find yourself sharing the good news with. As fabian suggests, install what you want and as you need them. This is particularly important on ios devices where space is even more of a premium. Just remember you have access when the need arises . ;o) Edited February 21, 2016 by ukfraser
wboydsp
Thank you for the reply, It is good to know that we do have control over what is installed. I just thought that each collection came as one install.
Fabian
You can also delete the modules that you had installed. If needed install again. Greetings Fabian
Daniel Francis
We have choice of what is installed with the exception of say you own something like Expositor's Bible Commentary.. it is done as one module, there is no way to install Volumes 1, 8 & 9 but as long as it is a separate module what you want installed or not is possible... and most things are separate modules even in larger collections like the IVP reference collection. -Dan
