Λύχνις Δαν
Hi ya, Acc 11.1.5rc2 and 11.1.4 production If I do a simple search for a BEGINSPEECH in Hebrew I get tons of hits. Trying the same thing for Greek I get a dialog saying there are no verses in the current range. The range is open so it's the whole NA28 Greek NT. Thx D Edited March 16, 2016 by Daniel Semler
Joel Brown
The begin speech marker is the hebrew colon found in the syntax tree (see Gen 1:3, 4th item). A cursory scan of the New Testament shows that this isn't used, so perhaps Marco chose not to tag it. Hopefully he or someone else can answer as to why it is not present. Λύχνις Δαν
Ah ok thanx. Should this be moved to Syntax Modules then ? I was in two minds where to put it when I posted this. thx D
dagleich
Hi, I had the exact same question, because I was looking for a way to find passages in direct speech. Later I found out that I could find direct speech by making a construct search: Select in the construct window under Syntax the green "clause" element Select "only independent clauses" Select "only direct speech" The results should give you all the verses that include "direct speech". Λύχνις Δαν
Vielen dank. I cannot remember even what I was doing when I hit this but I was mostly concerned about whether that option ought even to be present for Greek. Thx D
