Merge User Notes prevented by different corpora

Somehow my iPhone and Mac developed separate user notes files.  Same user notes filenames, but notes entered on my iOS device did not show up on the Mac, despite syncing with Dropbox, and vice versa.  So I renamed the user notes, appending "OS X" to one filename and "iPhone" to the other filename, so that I could distinguish them.  I placed them both in my Accordance Documents folder on the Mac in order to use the Merge User Notes command to combine them.  However, the following alert appears from the Merge User Notes dialog box:  "These User Notes cannot be merged, because their references are not in the same corpus." (screenshot attached)

What does this mean, and how did it arise?  I assume that somewhere along the way, on one device or the other, I added a User Note to some text module other than the Bible?

How can I tell what the different corpora are for each user notes file?  If I could identify them, then perhaps I could add a user note to the missing module in the other notes file, and thus bring them into correspondence?

Or, the bottom line is just this:  is there any way to change the corpora so that they match and thus for the user notes to be merged?

All advice appreciated; many thanks.

PEACE

Kerry

PS:  When I wrote the above note, I had forgotten what Dr J explained in a recent video, that one can see the Contents of User Notes files now by opening them in their own separate zones.  When I open these two User Notes files in separate zones, their Tables of Contents show no links outside of the books of the Bible; nor are there links to the Apocryphal books.  Their range of corpora appear to me to be identical.

When I survey the two User Notes files in the Tables of Contents, for the iPhone file I cannot see any content past Ecclesiastes.  All of the notes appear just fine when tied to a biblical text -- when scrolling through, say, Mark or Acts.  But in the Table of Contents view, it's nothing but a white screen if I click on any biblical book past Ecclesiastes.  Might this suggest that I may have a corrupted note somewhere in Eccl or Isaiah?

PPS, Edit:  I've now deleted some longer notes with links that occurred in Eccl and elsewhere.  The white screen is eliminated, although the iPhone User Notes file will not jump to the biblical book indicated in the Table of Contents, yet it does scroll manually throughout the Contents using the handle in the scroll window.  I still cannot merge the two user notes files; the same dialog alert appears.  My desktop Accordance is 11.1.4.  My Accordance Mobile is up to date as well.

PPPS:  Another difference between the two files is that the iPhone User Notes file has no suffix, while the OS X User Notes file has an amynotes suffix.  Does this explain the incompatibility?

Hi Kerry,

Sorry for the user note problems, it looks like Accordance has become confused on which user note file to keep in sync. The new user note files (*.amynotes) support unicode, multiple corpora, etc.  I suggest that you call our Tech Support line at (407) 339-0266, M-F from 9 AM-6 PM Eastern to sort out the different versions of user note files and make sure you do not lose any data.

Mike
