Joel Arnold
Here's something I've wondered about for a long time. On the iOS app I'm always losing a bit of space at the top of the page. Big deal? Not especially on the iPad. It doesn't look great, but it's an iPad so we have the real estate for it there. Compare to the ESV Bible app—true full screen. Looks great. The problem of knowing where you're at is solved with a tap—it gives you a header bar with the reference. Start scrolling again and it's gone. It instantly feels really sharp. Here's where it does actually matter. The iPhone app actually takes up a space at the top and the bottom. Again comparison to the ESV Bible app highlights the difference. But there's more. Look closely at the Accordance layout and I'm missing the last line of the verse. This is scrolled up as high as you can scroll. In other words, to read that line you have to pull it up and hold it. Unless your finger is manually on the screen holding it up there's no way to read the last line of the verse. This actually happens to me a ton—enough that I've gotten into adding an extra verse or an "ff" to my search so that I can read the last one. Still in word type searches this method doesn't work. So the dream is that Accordance would have complete full screen, edge to edge. But I think probably the more pressing thing is the issue with the last line of text not being seen. That one actually feels like a bug more than anything else.
Scott Knapp
The last line being cutoff is most certainly a bug.
norespite
I have this same problem with lines being cut off at the bottom (finally decided today to research this to see what the problem is). I have it with my iPhone 4 and also with the iPhone 5s I just purchased and reinstalled everything fresh with.
