Review Mighty Mouse
A detailed review.
I've found that most of the reviews of the Mighty Mouse are mixed. It's definitely better than the last mouse I was using ("The Mouse" from DVForge), and it's the first Apple mouse in my mere seven years as a Mac user that I've been willing to to use.
No doubt, Apple will continue to improve the Mighty Mouse over time. It's a significant mouse for them because they FINALLY gave us right-click support in one of their mice after including the ability in the OS a long time ago. I guess that makes it significant in Apple's history. However, I believe the real contribution is the scroll-ball and 360° scrolling. After you've used this in a few applications like Photoshop (or even iPhoto), you hit yourself on the head and wonder why no one thought of it before. It's even handy in finder windows that are in column view for going back to a previous folder. I wouldn't be surprised if other companies pick up on the concept and most mice are like this in the near future.
Now, if only it worked in the Accordance Atlas...
