Joshua French
Today I was trying to add a folder in the Library Window, but couldn't find a way. I searched the forum, and found this link, which gave me the keyboard shortcut. However, a "gear" button was mentioned which I vaguely remember from a previous version. I went back to Accordance (v 8.04), and saw that I don't have this gear button. Is this something that was removed in this version? Is this a bug? Just thought I'd throw it out there. Mike Garrity
Hi Joshua, What do you mean by the 'Gear Button' is Gone? You don't know where the button is located... In Accordance Help.. Accordance Help > Setting Up > Library Window > 2. The Buttons at the Bottom There is a description and picture of the Action Menu button (Gear). The button is dim... The Help also says.. The Action Menu button is dim until an item is selected in the window pane. The bottom of the Library window is not visible on screen... If the bottom placard is not visible on your screen then you can click the green zoom button to resize the Library window. Hope this helps Mike
Joshua French
Hi Mike, Thanks for the help. I think my confusion is that the gear button is no longer a gear. It is now a 0+. But I was able to use that button to get a new folder. A screenshot is shown below. Joshua
Helen Brown
You must be on the emulator, and yes, many buttons do look different in the 68K version. Remember that you can copy the Help files back to Windows and access them in your Internet Browser. Even though the pictures are from OS X they will give you an idea of where to look. Joshua French
Hi Helen, Yes, I am on the emulator. Thanks for the hint about copying the help files to the Windows side. You're comments are helpful as usual! Joshua
