“He said3004) to him the third time, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Peter was grieved because he said to him the third time, “Do you love me?” and he said to him, “Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you.” Jesus said to him, “Feed my sheep.” (John 21:17-18 ESVS)

Notice the greek key number in the text.

Another interesting note is that when I copy this verse as a citation it includes a reference to verse 18 even though verse 18 was not part of the selection.
"I'm not afraid of failure. I'm afraid to succeed in something that isn't important." William Carey

While my ESVS does include the visible key number, I don't experience your problem when copying as citation—I don't end up with an extra verse reference. I have ESVS v. 2.0.

With my version (1.0) everything is fine. The key number is not visible.

Please send these simple errors directly to me, there is no need to discuss them on the Forum.
