Is anyone interested in making a module of Journal of Hebrew Scripture

Hi Accordance users,

There is an online journal of Hebrew Scripture.

They provide text in html, word, and pdf format.

Not sure if anyone is interested to make it as a module (User Tool).

If so, we can co-operate instead of one person doing it.

Here is the link.

Hello, Chris:

I wouldn't mind helping with that if it does not violate any copyright restrictions. It appears to me that through volume 7 would be pretty easy to do because they offer htm or hypertext (which appears to be the same?). In Accordance, we can easily import htm files. I tested it out and successfully did a couple. However, starting with volume 8 all I see are pdf files and those are much more difficult to import. One can either export the pdf as text (but then you lose formatting and possibly the language fonts) or copy from the pdf and paste into Accordance with a similar result to the first method. It would take a lot of work to reformat them into a usable document unless someone has another solution.

I don't see anything on their website regarding re-publication except by the original authors. This looks like a project that should not be undertaken as a shared venture. I'm afraid that copyrights would be violated.

Thanks for your reply. I think I should email them to have the permission first. I hope that more people can share their User Tool to enrich the Accordance community. I am doing a church history timeline right now.
