Tom
I see that the World Biblical Commentary is on "super sale" for $399 here: http://www.accordancebible.com/store/details/?pid=WBC-CD In fact this blog entry mentions it: http://www.accordancebible.com/Back-To-School-Sale-2009 The blog entry states, [this] "is an astounding $399 for all 58 volumes." Can anyone tell me if this is the same thing that is being offered for $299 here: http://www.nehemiahbiblesoftware.com/macin...-macintosh-p-33 If so, in the interest of saving a significant amount (25% = $100) for relatively poor pastors, teachers, professors and missionaries, this would be a good thing to know. Tom Hey Tom, It's always good to know when there's a sale or a better price on one of the Accordance packages, but please remember that listing competing sites on the OakTree blog can be a financial liability to the great folks who develop these jewels. Besides, I'm fairly certain Helen would be willing to negotiate an acceptable price with you through a private email. Best regards, Ron
Timothy Jenney
Must be a fluke. I see they only have a single copy in stock. Wonder how they got it?
Tom
can be a financial liability to the great folks who develop these jewels. Point granted. I was just worrying about the "financial liability" of the end user. Tom
Nehemiah Bible Software
Must be a fluke. I see they only have a single copy in stock. Wonder how they got it? Timothy, The WBC for Mac is distributed by Thomas Nelson Publishers even though it is on the Accordance platform. A few months ago, Nelson gave us a huge discount for buying them in bulk. The one you are referring to was that last one at that price. We don't know if we'll be getting any more at this point. We would like to carry Accordance / Oak Tree but haven't secured a competitive dealer price, although we haven't applied in a couple of years.
