Calibri font problem after installing 8.3.1

I updated to 8.3.1 when I opened Accordance and it informed me of the update. Everything ran just fine. When Accordance reopened, every character of the Calibri font was replaced with a ? in a box.

Changing the font in the pane resulted in correct text. Switching back returned the ? in a box.

Closing and reopening Accordance did nothing.

Running fontfixer did nothing.

Restarting my mac did nothing.

I really don't want to have to go through and change the font for every tab and panel. And I like the look of calibri, which I think the program defaulted to.

How do I fix this?

There are font issues with Microsoft fonts which crashed 8.3 in Snow Leopard and are therefore not displayed in 8.3.1 until we can find another solution. You can go back to 8.2.3 as I don't think it will crash Snow Leopard over fonts, or try 8.3. Those installers are still online.

Of course, they won't install over a newer version, so you will have to delete 8.3.1 and use the code for version 8, but they will install into Accordance folder if it is in Applications.

Note that 8.2.3 cannot open any windows with history in the History menu that were saved by 8.3 and above.

Yeah, everything was fine in 8.3.

I'm curious about the problem, though. The font checks out fine in Font Book and functions normally in other programs as well. it seems isolated to Accordance 8.3.1.

Guess I'll roll back.

Just out of curiosity, is there a place to change the font globally?

Preferences: Text Display and Tool Display will change the font in all new text and tool windows.Calibri is certainly not our default, you must have chosen it yourself at some point.
